RHS “Valedictory” Scholarship Application – All members of the Richmond Secondary School graduating class of 2023 are welcome to apply for one of the many scholarships the school distributes each year. To be eligible, students must be graduating in June of 2023 and be enrolled in at least six different classes at RHS this year. The Scholarships in this Section Are Organized Into 4 Categories:
University – Entrance scholarships and awards offered by public universities. Some have a separate application process while others will consider students automatically once they have applied.
College – Entrance Scholarships and Awards offered by public colleges – Most, if not all, require a separate application.
General or Other Scholarships – Scholarships & Awards offered by other organizations. Each scholarship will have it’s own application process and deadlines.
School based – Your high school (Richmond Secondary High School/ Hugh Boyd Secondary School) will also have their own scholarships that you should look into. Each school will have a link to access the scholarship application form.

StudentAid BC – Youth Educational Assistance Fund for Former Youth in Care – This program provides grants of up to $5,500 per program year to former B.C. youth in care students between 19 and 24 years of age. EFMABC Bursaries
The Educational Facility Managers Association of British Columbia is pleased to offer five $1,000.00 bursaries to graduates of the 2022/2023 school year. These bursaries are offered to secondary students completing their grade 12 year who will enter a recognized post secondary educational institution in the 2023/2024 term. Bursaries will be awarded based on academic achievement and/or special needs. Preference will be given to students entering the fields of engineering, architecture, or building technology.
